Calm Abiding: Click here for an audio clip.
Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and observe. You may at first notice sensations in your body. Make yourself comfortable, and then try to stay as still as you can for the next two minutes. Relax your shoulders, your arms and your hands. Let your weight drop down into your seat. Relax your hips and legs.
Feel the weight of your body and experience a sense of stillness as your weight drops.
Watch as your breath gently rises and falls inside you.
Stay here for two full minutes or up to twenty minutes.
Do this meditation every day at least once to calm and strengthen you.

Breath Meditation: Click here for an audio clip.
Sit comfortably in a place with fresh air. Close or half close your eyes and begin to watch your breathing. Try to breathe naturally with no extra effort. Notice the quality of the inhalation. Breathe in and out through your nose.
Are you breathing only into your throat, or are you taking air deeper into your chest?
Now start to expand your chest a bit as you inhale.
Now try to take air deeper into your belly. Feel your belly expand like a balloon when you inhale.
Now notice the quality of your exhalation. Pull your belly gently inwards as you exhale through your nose. Try to make the exhales steady and gentle. Begin to slightly extend the length of the exhales so they are longer than the inhales.
Keep this up for two minutes or up to ten minutes.
